What the job can include

Boxes, seasonal storage, old furniture, sports gear, yard tools and other nonhazardous items can be reviewed for removal.

Describe the items before scheduling. The final removal list should be agreed on before loading begins; anything marked to keep stays put.

Mark the things you want to keep. Point out anything heavy, attached to the wall or difficult to reach before a quote.

What affects the estimate

The number and size of items, their weight, any disassembly, access to the garage and the carry distance all help define the job. Describe a blocked driveway, narrow gate or stairs at the outset.

Items to set aside

The client says it does not take fuel, car fluids, wet paint, cleaners, pesticides, pressurized containers, biohazards or other hazardous materials. Keep these out of the removal group and check an appropriate local disposal option.
